Every spring, we happily welcome blooming flowers and longer days. But for many, spring also brings... seasonal allergies. Between all the sneezing, sniffling and coughing we often overlook our poor four-legged friends. Did you know that dogs can get seasonal allergies too?

It's happened to all dog owners at least once. You come home, open the door, and find: The furniture torn up An "accident" on the carpet Food on the counter missing Fur all over the couch (insert guilt-causing activity here) Then when you start searching for the culprit you get...the look.. The "I'm so sorry, please don't be mad at me, look at my really cute face" look. But is the look your pup giving you, really an admission of guilt?...

P.L.A.Y. Named 1 of Dr. Becker's Best at the Global Pet Expo

Lately we’ve been attending a lot of pet shows and conferences around the country. First San Francisco, then Seattle and currently Orlando. It’s been a crazy few months for us since we launched P.L.A.Y. in late November, but crazy in a good way. People really seem to be loving our beds, and we're ecstatic to announce that we've been named one of Dr. Becker's Best of 2011 at the Global Pet Expo!...

This past month, we had a great photo contest with Dog-Milk. Entrants submitted photos of their pups for a chance to win a Cameo bed from our Artist Collection. We got some amazing submissions; dogs with no beds, dogs who chewed up their beds, and dogs whose beds were just too small. It was a tough decision narrowing down all of entrants to just five finalists – but we left the harder decision to you, the people. After a week of voting, Preston, the absolutely adorable pit-bull won over all our hearts (how could he not, with that sad face!) and became the winner of our first ever photo contest. We loved this little guy so much; we reached out to his human, Ken Decost to learn more about their story together…

It's obvious that we love dogs. We want to help dogs in anyway we can and that's why we've recently donated a few of our items to charities across the country. From helping homeless dogs in Austin, to contributing to Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy, or donating raffle items for animal rescue and cancer research in California- we know that every little bit helps...

Since the beginning of February, we've been partnering with Dog-Milk.com on a fun photo contest for pups who deserved a new bed. To say the least, we got some great entries...

Not that we're partial or anything, but pugs are pretty awesome. Momo is so quirky and always makes us laugh. A couple of weeks ago we did a post about the history of these loveable dogs, today we wanted to highlight some of the celebrities that own pugs too...

Earlier this month we participated in CityDog's annual Puppy Love MuttMixer at the swanky W Hotel in Seattle. We brought some of our beds for all the pups to lounge on and settled ourselves in for a night filled with mingling and puppy kisses!...

Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day! We think it's important to remember the reason for this special holiday, and that it is more than just a three-day weekend. Momo actually loves playing with all types of animals - she's really curious and just doesn't discriminate. Momo, being the little rambunctious thing that she is, LOVES to run and romp with all sorts of dogs. Big or little - she is right there with them. It's a question that has been debated since the beginning of time... okay, not that long, but you get the idea. Recently Pawnation.com posted an article about this very topic and detailed the results from a study conducted by Oxford University. For some (like me) the results are not very surprising... :)
