Not that were partial or anything, but pugs are pretty awesome. Momo is so quirky and always makes us laugh. A couple of weeks ago we did a post about the history of these loveable dogs - today we wanted to highlight some of the celebrities that own pugs too.
Pugs have been popular amongs celebrities and royalty for some time now dating all the way back to 400 B.C. with the Shang Dynasty in China. Today, you can see these litte dogs in the arms of celebs all around LA. Here are our favorites:
Designer Valentino loves these little guys and was last counted with have SIX of them. Thats right, SIX - the mother, Molly; her sons, Milton and Monty; and her daughters, Margot, Maude and Maggie. He loves them so much, he has even named one of his past collections after his late pug, Oliver. Heres a great photo of Valentino with a couple of his beloved dogs.
Jessica Alba has two pugs of her own, Syd and Nancy. She has been photographed taking them shopping, to lunch and even on vacation to Mexico! In an interview with Animal Fair magazine, Jessica said, "They just want to be hugged, loved and kissed. Theyre great as long as I give them attention."
The late Duke and Duchess of Windsor are possibly a couple of the most well-known pug lovers of the 20th century. Over the years they had a total of 11 pugs, all of which they took with them almost everywhere. These pups were definitely treated like royalty. They had their own entourage that went with them - including a personal chef and designated pooper scoopers!
