You might not know who Purin is when you hear the name, but many of you have probably seen the internet sensation playing catch with his human. In the video, this amazing beagle goes through a series of tosses before he adorably clings onto her ball for dear life. As if that weren't cool enough, is that this little beagle does more than just play catch. She's practically a dog genius!

We often get asked why we named our pup Momo. First off, because it is a ridiculously cute name. Second off, no it's not short for anything... her name IS Momo. We get a lot of guesses on how we came up with it, but these are our favorites...

Momo here. Obviously there are some things us dogs can't tell you humans - we don't bark the same language! For my humans, they know me well enough to know when I want to play, sleep, pee (cause I don't poop... ladies don't poop), or eat. But what about all the people who DON'T know me? How can I tell them not to stare at me funny, or if I need to go tinkle?

If you're like most me, you probably have piles of "treasure" (or junk, depending on who you are) collecting dust in your closets, garage, and rooms. According to the ASPCA, 5-7 million companion animals enter shelters in the U.S. every year - that number doesn't even include the pets in the 5,000 independantly run shelters across the country.
