P.L.A.Y. x Global Conservation Force
Through June 30th, P.L.A.Y. will donate 3% of all orders to the Global Conservation Force (GCF), a non-profit organization dedicated to saving wildlife from extinction through education, anti-poaching, and conservation efforts.
What Does GCF Do?
Global Conservation Force is dedicated to safeguarding wildlife globally, including species like elephants, rhinos, pangolins, and other endangered animals. GCF combats wildlife trafficking and poaching through anti-poaching ranger deployments, supports wildlife sanctuaries, conducts research, and engages in community-based conservation efforts. Their work aims to protect vulnerable species and their habitats.

How are Dogs Involved in Conservation?
GCF K9s are essential for the organization's conservation efforts. They work alongside well-trained and equipped rangers and are skilled in tracking, trailing, scent detection, and bite work for suspect apprehension. They also help to locate endangered species for research and conservation efforts.
The K9 team contributes to wildlife protection and helps boost ranger morale. The presence of these highly trained dogs increases rangers' confidence and security.

Why it Matters
According to the Smithsonian National Museum, recent studies estimate that of the eight million species on Earth, 15,000 are threatened with extinction. Some of these at-risk species include rhinos, elephants, and pangolins - animals that GCF works to protect.
