P.L.A.Y.'s Celebrity Signature Pet Bed Auctions Were a Success!

At the recent MTV Movie Awards Style Lounge, we  presented celebs with our award-winning line of pet beds and in return asked for help raising money for animals in need. Over 100 animal-loving celebs signed one of two beds from our Artist Collection; the sassy Heels and Boots bed features autographs from 27 Dresses star, Malin Akerman, and The City Girl, Whitney Port, while the classic Footprints bed boasts signatures from America's Best Dance Crew and Extra host, Mario Lopez, as well as Jackass, Steve O.

At P.L.A.Y., it's so important for us to give back - so when we got the opportunity to mingle with celebs AND help animals in need, we simply couldn't resist. Being founded and based in San Francisco, we're proud that our hometown is one of the safest in the nation for homeless dogs and cats – and we wanted to help keep it that way. That's why we auctioned off both beds and donated 100% of the final sales price to support the San Francisco SPCA.  

We’d like to sincerely thank all of our animal-loving friends and the kind-hearted celebrities that helped us raise money for animals in need. We really appreciated everyone who shared our auction on Facebook, tweeted about it on Twitter, wrote a blog post for their readers and just helped spread the word! And a HUGE thank you to our auction winner - we hope you enjoy your new designer dog beds!

We are SO excited to announce that in just 10 days our auction raised over $750 for the SF SPCA! Additionally, P.L.A.Y.’s team members are contributing to that amount and will be raising it to $1000! The auction was a great success and we couldn’t have done it without everyone's help. You all deserve a big round of apaws!
